History & Background

Established in May 2002, the main philosophy of the business is to provide personalized and high quality professional quantity surveying and related property services.

Construction Cost Associates Pty Ltd (CCA) owned and operated jointly by Jim Ford and Lee Dolan provides specialist professional quantity surveying and construction cost consultancy services.  Based in Brisbane, projects are undertaken throughout Queensland and Northern New South Wales.

Lee and Jim have been involved in the local construction industry since the 1980’s and were directors of Ralph, Beattie, Bosworth (Queensland) until the merger with Napier & Blakeley in 1999.  In 2002, Jim resigned as a director of Napier & Blakeley and formed Construction Cost Associates.  Lee subsequently joined CCA in September 2003.

In addition to traditional quantity surveying expertise, both Lee and Jim bring areas of specialist experience to the business – Lee focusing on Strata Title and Aged Care services and Jim on construction cost management and estimating.
